Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026

MenuFC is a macOS menu-bar app that displays live football scores. In short: it does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

What we collect

Nothing personal. MenuFC has no account, no login, and no sign-up. It does not ask for your name, email, contacts, or location, and it contains no advertising or third-party tracking or analytics.

How the app works

To show scores, MenuFC sends anonymous requests over HTTPS to our own server (a Cloudflare Worker), which fetches publicly available match data from a third-party football data provider. These requests carry only what is needed to return today's scores — no personal identifier — and we do not build a profile of you or your device.

Like virtually all internet services, our server may process standard, transient connection information (such as an IP address) solely to deliver the response and protect the service from abuse. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not sell or share it.

Data stored on your Mac

MenuFC caches the most recent scores locally (in your Application Support folder) so it can show the last known result when you're offline. This stays on your device, contains only public match data, and is removed when you delete the app.

Children's privacy

MenuFC is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Third parties

MenuFC relies on a third-party provider for match data, reached only through our server — your device never contacts the provider directly, and no personal information is sent to them.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior ever changes (for example, if analytics are added in a future version), this policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version ships.
